The Marmaris Chamber of Commerce, or MTO, Muğla University Archeology Department, Turunç Municipality and The Union of Tourism and Infrastructure in Marmaris and its Environs, or MARTAB, have joined forces for the project. |

MEDıTERRANEN SEAL BADEM GETS NEW CAGE |

Badem, a Mediterranean seal that was found beached in Didim and had previoush/ undergone many attempts at rehabilitation after being released into the vvild in 2006 vvill now be kept in a special cage. The cage is in a bay in the popular resort tovvn of Marmaris.

UNLICENSED BUILDINGS IN BODRUM, MARMARİS DEMOLISHED |

Officials in the Aegean district ot’ Bodrum began the deınolition ot’ more than 300 unregistered buildings in the popular Gümbet neighborhood Monday. The buildings, which include hotels, restaurants, rafeterias, nightclubs, souvenir shops, bars and supermarkets, vvere built in the last 20 years, during a boom period for tourism. |
